Oven BBQ Tempeh
Who doesn't love BBQ flavor, and here's one you can make year round that you bake in the oven by Hannah Meuse
Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) Tootie's Tempeh
- 1/4 cup organic brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Vinolio Cascadian Wild Raspberry White Balsamic Vinegar (or similar)
- 1/4 cup tamari
- 2 Tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Whisk all ingredients in a large bowl until sugar has dissolved.
- Cut tempeh into 5 strips. Place strips in a shallow dish with marinade and toss evenly to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 400F. Bake 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway until caramelized and dark brown.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
